Marsh Farm Tea Room &Bed & Breakfast Abbots Bromley, Staffordshire

Things to do

On the farm...

Marsh Farm is a small farm with a few cattle, chickens and our resident horse. It is also home to a busy tea room that has been in business for 50 years.

Guests to the tea room and bed and breakfast are welcome to walk around the gardens or the farm (please remember to keep an eye on your children).

Afternoon Teas are served throughout the Summer months on a Saturday afternoon and all bank holiday so do come and try some of our home made cakes or scones.

In Abbots Bromley....

Abbots Bromley is one mile away and has several pubs that serve traditional ales and meals to suit all tastes and budgets. There is also an Indian Restaurant which operates a take-away service. For children there are two playgrounds located in the village in School House Lane and also by the Village Hall. There are also some excellent walks close to Blithfield Reservoir that offer stunning views over the water as well as great opportunities for bird watching and generally enjoying the fresh air.

In September the village celebrates Horn Dance Day which is on "the first Monday, after the first Sunday, after 4th September"!! In other words it falls somewhere between 6th - 12th September. If you want to visit but not sure when it is just give us a call. For more information on Abbots Bromley or the Horn Dance please visit www.abbotsbromley.com

Also on our door step is Freedom Brewery. Certainly worth a visit. Visit www.freedombrewery.com for more information.
